Well, the June trip to Shropshire has had a setback, the n/s/f swivel seals have gone and dump the grease everywhere.
The Swivel Joint is in good order it’s just the seals that have perished.
So left-hand side jacked up wheel off, brake caliper unbolted and removed, then on removing the hub flange housing all off the grease that is supposed to be in the swivel housing has decided to move house into the wheel bearing hub
What started off a straight forward job, I ended up uncovering other minor problems so extra parts were ordered mainly 2x stub axles to be on the safe side they come complete new seals etc fitted and all gaskets and new bolts.
A messy job but problem solved, all new wheel bearings and brake pads fitted.
This is an easy job to do yourself, I would use new stub axles for peace of mind for £33 each to me it was a no-brainer.
